Listen up: Parkinson’s Life podcast hits new milestone

For more than four years, the Speak Media-produced Parkinson’s Life podcast has brought together people from around the world to discuss key topics that matter to the Parkinson’s community.

Produced on behalf of the charity Parkinson’s Europe, the podcast has explored diverse perspectives on wide-ranging themes – from parenting with the condition, to dating and relationships, to the impact of impulsive behaviours linked to medication. We have shared honest conversations, highlighted useful insights and been moved by inspiring stories.

And the results speak for themselves. A review of recent episodes shows that the Parkinson’s Life podcast now sits around the top 10% of podcasts globally (based on November 2023 Buzzsprout data for episode listens recorded within the first seven days of launch). 

To date, the podcast has racked up more than 34,000 listens across episodes and earned two prestigious branded content awards – including ‘Best Branded Podcast’ at the 2021 International Content Marketing Awards. Plus, as of this month, the podcast series has a 4.8/5 rating on Spotify.

Considering the millions of podcasts available worldwide, these figures are no small achievement. The podcast’s success reflects Speak’s knack for finding and telling the stories that matter – not only to our clients but also to the audiences we serve.
